I helped lead the broadcast design and execution for a 30-hour international live stream that reached over half a million viewers. The production involved more than 40 cameras and a wide range of technical and logistical challenges across remote terrain. My role required staying calm under pressure while keeping the show on the air at a high standard.
The stream relied on IP-based remote workflows and wilderness connectivity using Starlink, which made it possible to produce a complex event in a location with limited infrastructure. I worked closely with technical staff, volunteers, announcers, sponsors, and board representatives to make the system reliable and understandable for everyone involved. I also served as the escalation point for technical issues during the live broadcast.
This project demonstrates my ability to build streaming systems that work in extremely demanding environments. It also reflects my experience managing budgets, technical teams, and high-pressure live production conditions. Western States remains one of the strongest examples of my live-streaming work.
